Delicious food! When visiting New York, we were reccomend this Korean barbeque restaurant and went here in the evening after flying it. After a very long day, the dinner was amazing. The service was very fast, the waiters were polite, and the atmosphere was very vibe-y. I am still thinking of the meat I ate there even after 3 months and from across the country. Highly recommend!
Food: 4/5 depends on the set you get Service: 2/5 based on yesterdays visit Lets meat is a ayce korean bbq. Ive visited this place multiple times for each time of the day. They offer a discounted lunch menu as well as the regular priced Classic and Signature. After trying each of the different sets they offer, I would choose the lunch option over the rest. Yesterday we dined here again but this time choosing the Signature set because we wanted to try their gopchang (small intestine). We found ourselves a bit disappointed in the gopchang because it had a sweet taste to it that you had to wash down with water with each bite. The entrails on the other hand were good. With the signature set you also get to order 1 ny strip steak per person, this was on the tougher side and we believed that the flat iron steak (classic item) was much better than it. As you can see we mainly ordered from the classic set rather than the signature set as there weren't much options to choose from aside from the classic items. In general the meat was good. As an asian that is hard to get your moneys worth. Service wise, we were disappointed with this visit. Compared to the rest of the visits, we were never rushed. Prior to yesterday, we had lunch and had classic at night on a weekend and neither of the times were we rushed. Yesterday, our server tended to us with the bare minimum to get thru a kbbq. At lets meat its traditional for the server to cook for you as you only have 1.5 hours to each as much as you can. But for us our server would place the meat to cook the. leave and tend to another table. While she tends to another table, either another server would help us with the meat or we did it ourselves, which wasnt really a problem since we wanted our meats to charr a little especially for the brisket. The part that made the experience bad was that when we barely had any meat left on the pan, our server didnt bother to stop by to take additional orders, we'd usually wave her down or wait a bit. Each time she took our orders she was in a rush barely getting the entire thing making us wait for the next time she would stop by. Or parts of our order would get placed. Each time we placed she also reminded us that there would be a charge onto the bill if there were waste, which we understand and were ordering in moderation. Around 45 minutes in she came by to last call us, making us feel even more rushed. On the previous visits, our last call was 1 hour in allowing us the last 30 minutes to eat and cook the last order. While the table behind us arrived before us and were still eating. When we were 1 hour in, their server went to last call them. At exactly 1.5 hours of our stay she cane by to drop off our check as we were still chewing. Upon leaving, the server saw us exiting but didnt even bother to thank us for dining, instead another server said their thanks to us instead. If we were to come back, I would suggest the lunch since the menu is extremely similar to the classic at a discounted price and you wont be rushed to eat as much as you can. Yesterday was probably the fasted and most pressure I had at an ayce. Additionally, I didnt see the point in rushing us out as we had already placed the last order in a while back and were only finishing up the remainder of our food, the restaurant still had an hour or more before closing and there were plenty of other customers dining and plenty of other tables open if they needed to seat another incoming party.
The best AYCE Korean BBQ I've been to, but not the best Korean BBQ out there. It's easily one a go-to and always pleasing. The service is good because they come around and cut the meat and serve you and they are flexible with dining timing. Did the premium menu ($48.99) and tried shrimp, squid, beef entrails, beef intestines, NY strip steak, and octopus. It was good, but not worth the extra cost. The shrimp came with the shell on, so you either had to peel each one or eat the shell, so it wasn't a good shrimp experience. The squid and octopus were good. The entrails were fine. The intestines were meh, and the steak was good but fatty. Everything else is good, but the brisket stands out. They give ample appetizers, and the kimchi is especially good. Also the service is crazy good because the waitress consistently comes around to take orders and cook and serve food, so you don't have to do it yourself.
I decided to "meat" up with a friend at Let's Meat BBQ, and no regrets! The staff member who served us was absolutely amazing and super sweet. She was attentive and checked in on us regularly, ensuring we got all of our orders. Wish I asked for her name so I could leave her a kind message here haha! Everything we tried was delicious and hit the spot perfectly. I don't have much more to say, except that Let's Meat BBQ definitely lives up to its name and is worth a visit if you're craving some great Korean BBQ! :)
Ive been here with a l large party and recently with a party of 5. With the large party, we had about 20+ people, they gave us 2 large tables at the end of the restaurant. There was a server who served just our table. Experience was great. I came here recently with my friends. The wait as we didnt reserve was 45-50mins on a thursday night. We ordered brisket, pork belly and rib eye. They were all okay, nothing out of the ordinary. There is a server who cooks the food for you. It was very hot.
LET THEM EAT MEAT!!! All you can eat meat!! The service here is really good, the atmosphere is very welcoming. This was a much better experience that I had last time. David took great care of me. He was an amazing server 5/5. 11. Beef Marinated thin sliced Ribeye was really good 5/5 13. Beef Marinated Hanger Steak was very good. 5/5 14. Beef Flat Iron Steak was pretty good, even without being marinated 4/5 I ended up liking the steaks in the order number as shown above with the ribeye as my favorite. Thank you for such an amazing time. I will be back soon. This place is not for vegetarians.
I love this restaurant. All you can eat Korean BBQ. An unexpected treat is the cheesy corn. I also enjoyed the strawberry soju. I've come on several occasions. Sometimes, the staff will cook for you if you look like you don't know what you are doing. Lol A definite midtown go to.
Came here incredibly late on a rainy night with a group of five, and we were seated relatively quickly. The service was nice and the meat, alongside the sauce that was given to us, was delicious as well. Vegetables were also give to us alongside the sides that normally arrive, which also paired well with the vegetables. I was having a pretty bad night due to some previous events that had occurred that day so this was a great pick-me-up that made my day a little better. Would be willing to come back again.
